Grace Extended Ministries International: A Calling to the Nations

"If my people who are called by my name, will humble themselves and pray and seek my face and turn from their wicked ways, then will I hear from heaven and will forgive their sin and will heal their land." 2 Chron 7:14 NIV

With a willingness to go wherever God leads, it is the vision of Grace Extended Ministries International is to equip people around the world in prayer, grace focused evangelism, and discipleship and to proclaim the gospel message of Jesus Christ.

In many places where we travel, we often encounter pastors with no education beyond the sixth grade. Bible College or seminary is a luxury few have. Often, their only book is the Bible which many have difficulty reading. For most, their understanding of basic theology is miniscule at best. Many have intertwined local religious customs and cultic practices in unknowingly creating their own theology. As a result, God's Word is often compromised in teaching.

Pastors and leaders where we have traveled in Africa and India are hungry for the teaching of God's Word. The call to equip God's people so that they may equip others is paramount on the heart of Grace Extended Ministries. Eph 4:11-12

Much of GEM International's teaching centers on basic theology, prayer, evangelism, God's love, and forgiveness. Michael and Esther also put on biblically based marriage seminars, a natural as they minister together as husband and wife.

In the area of prayer and evangelism, Grace Extended Ministries focuses on the fulfillment of the Great Command through continual worship and prayer. It is our belief that through this deep relational connectivity with God on a moment to moment heartfelt basis, that loving our neighbor (including grace evangelistic love), becomes a deep desire and burden in God's people.

Our love for our heavenly Father is a reflection of our ongoing prayer and worship of Him. The church in much of the world today

has relegated prayer to quick, on the fly petitions and has lost the desire to incorporate prayer into an intimate walk with our Savior. Consequently, many Christians in the world today struggle to hear the voice of God through the Holy Spirit.

One of the burdens on the heart of GEM International is to teach and equip the church to restore our true relationship with the Father, and learn to walk daily in His intimate love and grace. A deepening prayer life is essential to a deepening relationship with God. A deepening prayer life is essential to opening the hearts of people to respond to the gospel.

Mountains are moved through prayer. Matt 17:20. God wants us to pray prayers that are beyond what our finite minds can comprehend. Then, He wants us to keep on praying. Matt 7:7-8. It is through the continuous prayer of His people that God does extraordinary things.

Purpose: Michael and Esther Gray founded Grace Extended Ministries International to help bring the worldwide church together into a deeper understanding of the Great Commission through knowing God intimately. As we grow deeper in our love for God, implanting His Great Command firmly in our hearts, we acknowledge His cry to reach out to all peoples and all nations. Michael and Esther work with churches and ministries worldwide with particular emphasis in Africa and India to train and equip others to spread the gospel message of Jesus through a greater heartfelt understanding of love for our Savior.

Vision: To equip nationals around the world in prayer, grace focused evangelism, reconciliation, and discipleship, and to proclaim the gospel message of Jesus Christ.

Mission: To train pastors and Christians abroad and in the U.S. in prayer, grace evangelism, reconciliation, and discipleship so that they may broaden their prayer and evangelistic efforts to reach non- believers with the gospel.

A calling to the nations: With a willingness to go wherever God leads, Grace Extended Ministry International's (GEM's) primary focus is in Africa, southern India, and to those organizations (e.g. Sports ministries, churches, para-church ministry, etc.) both in the U.S. and abroad who desire training and equipping in the area of prayer and evangelism. We also serve as a training, equipping, and sending ministry and raise up and empower prayer and grace oriented evangelists to minister abroad with us.
